Congress Corporation appointed to manage major convention facility, Nagoya Congress Center and the Niigata Science Museum.

Starting April 1, 2010, Congress Corporation, already managing several conference facilities nationwide, was appointed to manage one of the five largest public convention centers in Japan, the Nagoya Congress Center (NCC) along with the Niigata Science Museum.
We look forward to welcoming you to these facilities in the near future.

Nagoya Congress Center (NCC)
Congress Corporation’s 4-year appointment to manage the NCC, a large-scale convention center for international conferences is our second one; the first is the Nagaragawa Convention Center in Gifu, Japan, actually just 20 minutes by train away from the City of Nagoya, the 3rd largest city in Japan, .
Many major international conferences have taken place at the NCC since its opening in 1990, and in October this year it will host the 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP10). We aim to manage the facility based on our thorough familiarity with the “user’s viewpoint.” In fact, a PCO operating a conference center is unique to Congress Corporation.

We look forward to assisting you whenever you or your clients are planning to organize a conference or event in Nagoya.

Niigata Science Museum
For a period of 5 years, starting April 1, 2010, Congress Corporation has been appointed to manage the Niigata Science Museum jointly with the Japan Foundation of Public Communication on Science and Technology. This follows our similar partnership in managing the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation “Miraikan,” which has indeed been highly evaluated. We intend to put our accumulated know-how to good use hereafter at the Niigata Science Museum to further develop the museum’s business and bring visitors exciting new projects. We look forward to working hard to meet the high expectations of visitors and the community.
