Achievements in Cultural & Tourism Facilities

When Congrès Inc. is involved in the launch of a new facility, we conduct various team-building projects to establish a smooth operation system. In addition, as a way of giving back to the local communities where the facilities we operate are located, we conduct “Mission: Clean Up The Town,” a litter pickup project, and work to create a sustainable community as a member of the local community.

Team-Building for Facility Staff

Team-Building Through “Riddle Solving”!

AOAO SAPPORO, an urban aquarium in Sapporo, Hokkaido, conducted “Riddle Solving Training” for customer service staff for the purpose of team-building. The key points were to solve the puzzles together and to act and think together. The questions covered various topics, so participants could use their own strengths and engage in conversation as they headed to the different mission sites.

Everyone Gathered Wearing Red Items!

At “Mission: Clean Odaiba & Aomi,” while picking up trash, they took on various missions and answered SDGs quizzes. The event raised morale in preparation for the opening of the new facility. Also, since the day was Christmas, the 75 members who participated on that day gathered wearing red items such as Santa hats and red pants. Some of the participating members said, “I can’t wait to work with these members!”

Planning & Management by Newly Graduated Employees

The “Mission: Clean Toranomon,” a team-building event for the opening staff, was planned and managed by a first-year new graduate employee. To ensure that even staff members meeting each other for the first time could participate in the event in a fun and relaxed manner, we made various efforts, including preliminary inspections, course setting, orientation, game planning, and preparation of rewarding souvenirs.

Community Giveback Through “Mission: Clean Up The Town”

Phase 1: “Mission: Clean Sumida”

The first “Mission: Clean Up The Town” event was held in the Oshiage area of Sumida Ward, Tokyo. Members working at facilities operated by Congrès and at the head office picked up trash together. All the routes and precautions were shared digitally, and each member checked them on their smartphones to reduce the use of paper. The participants were also committed to eco-friendly activities, wearing work gloves made from discarded threads.

Getting to Know the Town Through Litter Pickup

The goal of the “Mission: Clean Shibuya” was to “get to know Shibuya and its people through picking up trash,” and included a unique quiz and a photo contest featuring the city’s scenery. Not only did the teams get to know each other better thanks to the fun element, but they also gained a better understanding of their community and a greater sense of being part of their community.

President TAKEUCHI Noriko Also Participated!

At “Mission: Clean Nihonbashi,” where Congrès’ Tokyo headquarters and “Congrès Square Nihonbashi” are located, TAKEUCHI Noriko, president of Congrès, together with 25 individuals from various departments outside facility management, including the administrative division, gathered. In addition to picking up trash, we also learned about sustainable initiatives in Nihonbashi, believing that people can more easily contribute to the SDGs by using stores in Nihonbashi.
