“Japan Drone 2020,” Japan’s largest exhibition dedicated to drone business, will go ahead on Sept. 29-30, 2020

The Japan UAS Industrial Development Association (JUIDA; headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: SUZUKI Shinji) and Congrès Inc. announced that “Japan Drone 2020 – Expo for Commercial UAS Market,” the international exhibition & conference specifically focused on drones (unmanned aircraft systems) for consumer and commercial use, is set to go ahead on the new dates of September 29-30, 2020 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. The event was postponed from March due to the spread of COVID-19.

Advance registration is planned to open in early August on the official website, aiming to attract businesspeople from diverse industries interested in utilizing drones.

In addition to the exhibition and conference featuring lectures by experts, various events are planned including the Award Ceremony for the “Drone Movie Contest 2020,” the “JUIDA School Awards 2020” and “Best of Japan Drone Award 2020.”

Exhibition & International Conference

The exhibition will take place in the International Exhibition Hall, Makuhari Messe. It is also planned to substantiate the exhibitors’ pages on the official website with detailed information about their exhibited products.

The conference will take place onsite and via online streaming, enabling face-to-face as well as online participation
