Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC) celebrated its 10th Anniversary on October 25! Congress Corporation (Shanghai) Ltd., part of the Congress Corporation Group, is proud to provide operational support services at SWFC.

SWFC, managed by the Mori Building Group of Japan, is situated in the heart of Shanghai’s Lujiazui finance and trade zone, in the Pudong New Area. Soaring 492 meters above the city, the mixed-use skyscraper has 101 floors and is home to offices, restaurants, shops and a hotel. SWFC opened in 2008 under the concept of “global magnet” and the observatory has since welcomed over 20 million visitors, including many tourists from around the world.

Congress Corporation participated in the planning for the special 10th anniversary commemorative event, “ART AQUARIUM IN SHANGHAI & NIGHT AQUARIUM” that was kicked off on October 26.

This is the first time the event is being held in China, and will continue until February 17, 2019.

Lots of visitors are expected to enjoy this popular event’s world of fantasy, a fusion of “World of Sky” and “World of Water.” Several exhibits will be shown outside of Japan for the first time, including “Kirikorium,” incorporating Edo-kiriko, traditional Japanese artisanal glassware, and “Kutani Kingyo Exhibition” created from historical Kutani porcelain of Kanazawa.

10 years have passed since SWFC’s launch, and today it is still constantly bustling with visitors. Congress Corporation looks forward to continuing to support this Shanghai landmark’s operations hereafter.
