“island eye,” Fukuoka’s new multi-purpose complex, opened on March 27, 2020 on Island City situated in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City.
Congrès Inc. has been appointed to manage the complex’s MICE facility, “Fukuoka Island – City Forum.”

“island eye” is a development business project undertaken by the Fukuoka Island City special purpose corporation and is jointly operated by the Yazuya Group and Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc.

This comprehensive multi-purpose complex will house shopping outlets and restaurants, along with theaters, the MICE facility and a hotel.

The Grand Opening on March 27 included commercial establishments, theater and the MICE facility. The hotel is scheduled to open in Autumn, 2020.

Fukuoka Island – City Forum features a main hall with a capacity of approx. 1,300, and several conference rooms that can be flexibly arranged to meet clients’ requirements. This facility can be used for large-scale meetings, events, exhibitions, concerts and more.

The opening of the 360-room hotel, located within the complex, will also make this a convenient venue for study tours, corporate retreats and multi-day workshops, etc.
