We would like to express our sincere condolences to all those who are suffering from the effects of the disaster caused by the unprecedented earthquake and tsunami that struck northeast Japan on March 11th, and the aftermath.

Thanks to the encouraging messages we have received from so many of our clients and friends around the world, which mean a great deal to us, we in Japan have renewed hope that the affected areas of our country can attain a full recovery, although we have a challenging road ahead.

Regarding the domestic and international conferences, exhibitions and events that are scheduled for the near future, as well as the conference and cultural facilities we are appointed to operate, we are now coordinating closely with each organizer and related parties to evaluate all information on the current situation, in order to formulate the best plan of action hereafter. The latest information will be announced and updated continually on the respective websites.

The MICE industry in Japan is committed to providing any assistance we can to aid the recovery of the areas affected by the disaster, and keeping our spirits high, we look forward to continuing to welcome international conferences to Japan, which we are confident is, with our traditional generous hospitality that remains intact, one of the highest quality destinations for conventions and events.
