Shizuoka Prefecture and Numazu City are jointly constructing a new multi-purpose convention facility, “Fujinokuni Senbon-matsu Forum – PLAZA VERDE,” and Congress Corporation has been appointed as the official management company.

This integrated convention complex features an exhibition/event facility and a convention center. The exhibition hall will lead the launch and open on June 29, 2013, followed by the grand opening of the entire complex, nicknamed “PLAZA VERDE,” in the summer of 2014.

Numazu City is in a prime location on Suruga Bay, close to the Izu Peninsula as well as to Mt. Fuji; this area is known for its beautiful nature, delicious seafood and relaxing hot springs. It will surely prove to be an attractive MICE destination.
