Congress Corporation has been contracted for this event for the third time. First in 1997 for Fukuoka’s 30th meeting, second in 2007 for Kyoto’s 40th, and 50th for Yokohama this time. They were all great successes and we are proud that we are the members of the team who achieved these successes.
ADB’s 50th Annual Meeting was held over 4 days from May 4 to 7 at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA and facilities surrounding it. The number of participants was close to 5,000, a new record.
Congress Corporation has provided a wide range of services, from office set-up, IT network construction including Wi-Fi and IP phones, to security planning and implementation, VIPs’ airport reception, hired vehicle operation, networking events and catering, volunteers’ on-site management, through to the onsite administration of overall meeting venues.
This year’s special feature was an exhibition. Following the previous year’s example, it was decided to hold an exhibition, and a Japan Booth and Yokohama City Booth were organized. During the Annual Meeting, together with networking lunches provided right in the center area, the exhibition was very popular with participants.
